You decide how long items can circulate on reserve.
Your students must have a valid Lake Land College library card in order to check out reserve materials. To get a card, they need to bring their Student ID to the Circulation Desk.
To put materials on reserve, please contact the circulation staff at 234-5367 or libcirc@lakelandcollege.edu.
Course reserves are a convenient way for faculty to make supplemental course materials available for an entire class or classes. The reserve shelves are located in the Library behind the Circulation Desk.

What may NOT be put on reserve:
The Library Director makes final decisions and will try to accommodate any special requests.
As a general rule, instructor- or library-owned items can remain on reserve for 1 year. Photocopied articles or chapters from books can remain on reserve for no more than 1 semester without written permission of the copyright holder.
Every year library staff will attempt to contact instructors who have items on reserve. Unless we hear otherwise, reserve items will be removed from Reserve and returned to the instructor or to the Library collection as appropriate.
If you would like to put a link to an online article on your course webpage, most of our library databases provide "persistent URLs" so you can link to directly to an article. Make sure to append our proxy address, https://proxy.lakelandcollege.edu:2443/login?url=, in front of any link so that students can access the content from off campus. Please note that such articles should be checked regularly to make sure that the database has not withdrawn the content. If you have any questions, please contact our reference librarian at 234-5440 or libref@lakelandcollege.edu.
