Our Association
The Illinois Health and Hospital Association is dedicated to advocating for Illinois’ more than 200 hospitals and nearly 40 health systems as they serve patients and communities throughout the state.

The Illinois Department of Public Health is an advocate for and partner with the people of Illinois to re-envision health policy and promote health equity, prevent and protect against disease and injury, and prepare for health emergencies.

IL Health Data Portal - Data.Illinois.gov is an open data portal that provides ready access to public datasets. Click here to obtain the latest IDPH datasets.
Vital Statistics - IDPH each year records about a half million vital record events -- births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions and abortions -- as mandated by state statutes and federal uniform data collection requirements.
Community Health Data (IQUERY) - A web-based data query system for collecting and disseminating current public health data in a collaborative effort with seven agencies.
EMS Data reporting System - Provides access to databases reporting on statewide mortality, trauma registry, traffic crash reports and hospital discharges.
IL Hospital Report Card - In November, 2009 the Division of Patient Safety and Quality launched the Illinois Hospital Report Card and Consumer Guide to Health Care website.
Healthcare Regulation includes Assisted Living, Clinical Lab Improvement Amendments (CLIA), Health Care Complaint System, Health Care facilities & Programs, Health Care Worker Registry, Hospitals, Life Care Facilities Program, Life Safety & Construction, and Nursing Homes.

Illinois Nursing Workforce Center
The purpose of the Illinois Nursing Workforce Center (INWC) is to address issues of supply and demand in the nursing profession, including issues of recruitment, retention, and utilization of nurse manpower resources.
