What is NoodleTools?

NoodleTools is an online tool designed to help you plan, complete, and collaborate on projects.  Use this resource to organize your sources, write electronic notecards for notes, create an outline, and create a works cited or reference page. NoodleTools helps you create a bibliography in MLA or APA format, and you can share information with classmates and teachers easily. 

Getting Started

1. On the library homepage, click on the Databases link on the left.  Then, click on NoodleTools in one of these places:

  • What's New widget on the General tab
  • in the Humanities & Communications tab
  • in the A-Z tab


2. Register to create a login.  You'll need to create a personal login and password--we recommend using your Laker ID and password. 

3. Once logged in, create a new project to get started!
