To use My Media Mall, you will need a Lake Land College library card.  If you don't already have an account, sign up for one at the Circulation Desk in the library.  You will then have access to Media Mall as a member of the Illinois Heartland Library System.

At the top right-hand corner of the Media Mall page, click on the Help menu.

From there, click on the link to Software.

Your installation will depend on what kind of device you plan to use.  Once you have installed and activated the software, you can search for and check out materials. (See below.)

When you find an item you want to check out, look in the upper right-hand corner for the correct format (audio or ebook.) 

When you select a title, see if it is available under Copies.  Popular bestsellers will often have a waiting list.

If you want to check something out or place a hold, click on the button that says Sign in for Availability.

On the login screen, choose Illinois Heartland Library System. (The system that Lake Land belongs to.)

Once you select Illinois Heartland, enter your Lake Land Library barcode # from the back of your student ID (if you don't have a library card, you will need to come to the Circulation Desk in the library to register for one) and your PIN, which is the last four digits of your phone number.

Once you sign in, your item will be checked out. Download the appropriate format.
